A Church community in Eastleigh, UK
We all feel lost sometimes. Life can be hard and it’s easy to lose our sense of joy and purpose. At Thrive we are committed to journeying life with you. We don’t gloss over the hard stuff but we are passionate about walking out your life’s purpose alongside you. We believe that there is no one else on this planet quite like you; you reflect the character of God in a way no one else can and we’re pretty sure that the journey to uncovering this will be the greatest adventure of your life. Here at Thrive we are still working this stuff out; trying to learn how to create safe spaces to ask the difficult questions, share our stories and become more truly ourselves. We are a work in progress; we invite you to join us on this journey.
your true identity in Jesus.
to make your contribution count in the places you live and move.
in a space where it's safe to be vulnerable.
UPDATED: Crestwood School are now closed and we will not be meeting this Sunday. We have also published a page containing our Coronavirus policy.
The Eastleigh 10k is due to be held on the weekend of the 22nd of March. Thrive will not be meeting this week and some of us are hoping to support the runners instead. If Coronavirus doesn't stop the event, come and join us!
We have five core values here at Thrive which inform everything we do. They make up the flow and rhythm of our life together:
We believe our God is the source of all creativity and as people made in the image of God, we also have creativity within us. We want to see a creativity motivated by love, outworked in our lives, our families and our communities.
We believe the Spirit of God is generous towards us. We want to be marked out as generous, abundant people; generous with our time, our energies, our ideas, our resources, our lives.
We believe that God doesn’t need us to be perfect before him, instead he wants us to be honest and real. We believe that God is never shocked or appalled by our pain, shame, and struggles but is fully committed to our journey towards wholeness.
We believe the Spirit of God is always moving. As we connect into the rhythm of our true life in Jesus, we allow ourselves to grow and be changed by the deep and unending kindness of God.
We believe that God is beyond all human understanding and so we can never reach the end of his grace, compassion, goodness, wisdom, generosity, and love. We believe that God delights in our questions and is not afraid of our doubts.
Meeting together, sharing our stories and listening to one another is the heartbeat of Thrive. We would love to have you join us.
Every Sunday 10:15am for refreshments.
Meeting starts at 10:45am, and everything is over by midday
